Türkiye has not only a prominent country in its region but it also has influence around the world, said Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.
Speaking at the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) Extraordinary Summit held at the Presidential Complex in the capital Ankara on Thursday, Aliyev said, “Türkiye is also a power center.”

Aliyev underscored that Türkiye is remembered with respect all over the world and everyone in the world follows Türkiye’s military power and success in the defense industry with envy.
The president also wished mercy to those who lost their lives in the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras on Feb 6.
Baku and Ankara are not only fair-weather friends but also friends in need, he added.
The Azerbaijani President stated that they saw Ankara’s support on their side from the first hours to the last day during the 2nd Karabakh War, thanks to Erdogan’s political, diplomatic, and moral support.
The Turkish people supported Azerbaijan throughout the 44-day war, during which the Azerbaijani army defeated Armenian soldiers, concluded Aliyev.
