Turkey’s benchmark stock index opened at 1,165.12 points on Tuesday, up 0.38% or 4.41 points from the previous close.
BIST 100 INDEX RISES 4.41 POINTS FROM PREVIOUS CLOSE
At Monday’s close, BIST 100 ended the day up 1.37% to close at 1,160.71 points, with a daily trading volume of 15.1 billion Turkish liras ($2 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate decreased to 7.7630 as of 9:30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), compared to 7.7670 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also fell to 9.1470 from 9.1540, while one British pound traded for 10.1040 Turkish liras, up from 10.1010.
