Cat pulled from debris after 80 hours

Search and rescue teams saved a cat on Monday, Nov. 2, from the debris of a collapsed building after a magnitude-6.6 earthquake jolted Izmir in western Turkey.

The cat was saved more than three days after the Friday’s quake.

Several other cats were previously also rescued with the help of a dog from Turkey’s Search and Rescue Association (AKUT).
