The Turkish ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector exported $7.56 billion worth of products this January-November, said a trade group on Tuesday.
METAL SECTOR IS SIXTH-LARGEST INDUSTRY EXPORT BRANCH
The sector’s share of Turkey’s total exports was 4.9%, making it the sixth-largest industry export branch, the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association said in a statement.
Tahsin Oztiryaki, the group’s head, said sector exports in November rose 10.5% to $776 million.
“If there is no abnormality in our December exports, we will export more than the previous year on an annual basis. In 2021, we aim to realize exports of $9.5 billion, up 15%” he added.
