President Erdoğan says new houses to deliver for earthquake victims

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Turkey stands by its “citizens affected by the earthquake,” on Saturday, Oct 31.

“WE WILL DELIVER NEW HOUSES TO OUR CITIZENS”

Speaking during AK Party’s 7th ordinary provincial congress in eastern Van province, Erdoğan said the government, together with ministers and all institutions, is making all efforts to save people under the rubble of collapsed buildings, and to help everyone affected by the shock.

“Inshallah (God willing) as soon as possible we will build and deliver new houses to our citizens whose houses were destroyed in the earthquake in Izmir,” Erdoğan said.

He also added that among the wounded, fifteen are in intensive care units.

At least 28 people have died and over 880 injured so far due to the earthquake.
