Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Friday congratulated the Republic of Türkiye on its 100th anniversary to be celebrated on Oct. 29.
In an email to Anadolu, Peskov said over the past 100 years, Türkiye has become “a developed, advanced and influential state.”
“On Oct. 29 this year, the Republic of Türkiye celebrates the centenary of its creation. I would like to sincerely congratulate our partners on this important anniversary. In Russia, we love Türkiye and rejoice at your success.
‘Advanced and influential state’
“Türkiye has not only preserved and multiplied the best achievements of its history, but has also become a developed, advanced and influential state over the past century,” Peskov said.
Russia highly appreciates the relations that have developed between the two countries, and looks forward to their further strengthening, he said.
