Speaking in a meeting held in Konya, Kemal Kilicdaroglu said: “Türkiye has to be the leader in its region. Türkiye will be a growing Türkiye when it competes with the world.”

Touching on his election pledges, Kilicdaroglu voiced they would abolish interviews in the public recruitment process, saying: “When these happen; Türkiye will be the strongest and most productive country in the Mediterranean. High-value-added products will be produced in Türkiye. Universities will produce knowledge.”

He also stated that he will share his assets when his candidacy is finalized.

Kilicdaroglu compared Konya province with the Netherlands and said Konya is bigger than the latter. According to him, Türkiye needs to be more advanced than the European country in agriculture.

“Konya is number one in agriculture but has serious problems,” added the 74-year-old candidate.
