Azerbaijan holds victory parade in Baku

Azerbaijan on Thursday held a large-scale military parade in Baku to mark its victory against Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh occupation.

COMPLETE CEASEFIRE WAS AGREED

Along with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also attended the parade.

The military equipment captured as trophies was demonstrated at the military parade dedicated to the victory.

Streets and buildings are decorated with Turkish and Azerbaijani flags, while platforms have been established for guests.

Military hardware of the Azerbaijani army were be on display and 3,000 soldiers who participated in the war marched during the ceremony.

On November 9, Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a joint statement, agreeing to a complete ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
