Matt Hancock, former UK Health Secretary, visited Turkey’s Istanbul.

Hancock was spotted when he browsed clothes in a bazaar in the city.

Referring to the video shared on social media, the British media said that his purpose of travel to Istanbul during the winter could not be a holiday, voicing claims regarding hair transplant or dental treatment.

He refused the claims, saying: “I did go to Istanbul at the weekend, but this story has no teeth. It’s hair today, gone tomorrow.”

The 44-year-old politician quitted as a member of parliament last year and said he does not have an intention to undertake the same position again.

In a letter to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, he said: “It has been a huge honour to serve as Member of Parliament for West Suffolk over the past twelve years.”
